I am 62 years old married for 44 years with two grown-up children.
My personal counselling experience brought about huge self-awareness and understanding leading me on the journey I now travel: I qualified as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist in 2011 at the University of Stirling, going on in 2013 to become a Counselling Supervisor.
My theory is person-centred although I offer integrative therapy which is a progressive form of psychotherapy that combines different therapeutic tools and approaches to fit the needs of the individual client.
I specialise in helping the clients explore their emotions/feelings and understand their behaviours: how their past influences their present day. We can't change the past but we can let go of it, leaving us free to recognise we have choices and there is more than one path.
I am not only a therapist I am a human being who has her own story to inform my practice.
I offer Talking Therapy
